A few screenshots of the new redesigned Element skin for vBulletin 4.03.

Release is getting very close, however during coding the facebook connect I found several unforeseen issues (like that it only works in the header template!) that have slightly delayed the coding process.

I have just about 97% of the forum completed, 70% of the blogs and about 25% of the CMS coded.

If I don't run into any other crazy issues with Internet explorer 7 and 6 I should have the forum coded by later today.

However I do wish to run a few more cross browsers testing and pretty much check every single sup page and hidden panel within vBulletin to make sure that everything is as perfect as I can.

On top of that I want to have the Blog and CMS ready to ship with the skin rather than have to re-releasing it again in a couple of days.

While I know this will be a disappointment to some (and some will be very mad at me), I feel that it is more important to get these issues resolved in this version rather than pushing them to a future one.

Thank you for your understanding, continued support and patience.

All screenshot (other than specified) are taken with Chrome.

Internet Explorer 7 render the skin almost perfectly, other than the alternate rows on forumhome, forumdisplay (see screenshot).

    Element is now 100% complete.

I have few people running it on they're development forums before I do the last minute clean up tomorrow.

Once that is done I will package it, upload it to our vbulletin 4 demo forum and finally make it available in the shop.

Element is made of over 2500 line of hand written CSS!
vBulletin 4 as been the biggest styling challenge so far, much harder than previous vBulletin version but so much more control over what I can do with it.

Enough ranting.... here some more screenshots:

    Postbit Legacy

    Postbit Horizontal

Social Group (hardest template to customise!)

    Compose Private Message
