Did you do a fresh install of the skin or did you overwrite your current one?
Can you try re downloading a fresh opy of the zip file and re install the skin, i just install it on fresh vbulletin 3.6.1 forum and those templates are up to date.
Actually those templates are not even modified in Element 3.6.1!!
Maybe you are suing some old version of the skin...
Please try again and let me know.

    Question

Why am I not able to use the horizontal postbit ?
No matter what postbit I choose on the styles options, it will show the legacy one.

And my users are used to the other one! Please help!

When you are using Element then you must upload the correct XML file.

+ stand for the liquid width version (100% width)
    # stand for the legacy postbit version

If you're uploading element+.xml for example you'll get the horzizontal postbit.
It doesn't matter what you confgure in your admincp.

    Really?

Because I want horizontal postbit and non-liquid version... and with previous versions of Element that was possible!

If you upload element.xml or element_blue.xml you've the fixed width version of the style with the horizontal postbit.

When the installation was successful you can switch between the different styles.
