Has bluesaint skin been upgraded to 3.5.0 yet?

Why aria and a few skins were upgraded during 3 times for 3 versions of vbulletin and Bluesaint skin hasn't been upgraded yet? This is not fair to customers! It's been many months now you don't upgrade BlueSaint! All customers should be treated equaly! Bought this skin and haven't gotten any upgrades yet and have been waiting for months. You said 1 month first, then 2 weeks, then almost out, then 1 week, now after the holidays. This is getting rediculous!

I've kept quit until now but I cannot agree more. vB 3.5 gold was released on Sep 28th. We are getting near to 3 months. I'm sorry but that really is not acceptable to wait 3 months for an update. Especially when other skin sites had "all" their skins updated in a matter of days. Common Miko...

We understand your frustration here folks, but as long as vBulletin remain on an upgrade release path of an ad-hoc or functional nature, we are somewhat stuck with this development path.

Personally, I'd dearly love to se vBulletin announce a schedule for their proposed software upgrades based on a calendar/phased approach, together with including a list of the issues resolved and items they propose are included in the release. At the moment, commercial product and style developers who are dependent on vB for their revenue, as well as the thousands of people in the userbase, has no idea of;

when the next vBulletin code release will arrive, nor
what will be in it, what will be resolved

Amending the development schedule to something along the lines of a dated/phased release cycle would mean we would all know when an upgrade was due for release and what was going to be included in it, we could then all manage our workloads accordingly - both users and developers alike.

When vB release firstly RC 35, then gold/final 35, then 351 then 352 all within the space of a few months of each other; for us to remain consistent in our approach, and to manage our product development in a professional and effective manner, we simply have to upgrade those styles that have already been ported to the vB3.5.n series. It interrupts our schedules enormously.

I feel for you folks, as I myself am waiting for a style to be upgraded before I can fully offer my users the same styles they have been used to for several years. But so long as this product development approach/policy remains in place with vB, we are powerless to do anything about it.

I do feel for you, and can fully understand you want to be able to upgrade your forum, I hope though that this somewhat clarifies the situation and explains why we manage our product development as we do.

January 16th, nothing yet. Bluesaint is still in 3.0.8 or 3.0.9. Unbelievable! vbulletin 3.5.0 version has gone by, 3.5.1 version has gone by, 3.5.2 version has gone by, now we are in vbulletin version 3.5.3 and nada. Aria skin has been updated all the time through all those versions but not bluesaint!

I've come to the realization that this place is dead and Miko doesn't really give a crap.

There is absolutely no excuse for this. I've been waiting for my update for months.

I went someplace and got another skin so at least I could have an updated one. Some other sites actually work at this and update skins within a matter of days (not months).

Miko, you had this site up for sale last year. Maybe it's time to rethink that and sell to somebody that actually has the time for this. It is more than obvious you don't.

That is such an unfair comment it is unreal. There is an announcement on the front page which has been there for several weeks now, that explains why Miko is not here on a daily basis. He is travelling to see his family in Europe and there is no official support on vBStyles until January 28th.

Despite not being true, it is totally unfair for you to make such disparaging and innapropriate comments - client or not - you ought to know better. This is a disgrace and personally, I find it incredulous that despite best efforst to inform everyone here about Miko's movements and well deserved holiday, people like you still yet make these awful comments. Mikaelweb and I are ensuring forum queries are answered and tickets are dealt with - all voluntarily I might add - and we then come online to have to read this type of rubbish.

Voicing oipinions on vBStyles is absolutely fine, and is in fact actively encouraged, but I would advise you to get your facts right and ascertain the situation before you make such aggressive and rude remarks again.

im helping here to conver element skin at this time to work whit 3.5.3 and Aria skin same 3.5.3 Satelite skin same 3.5.3 we are working here at this time like theMusicMan is teling miko is in Europe and is back end of January and starting to work whit this skins

You know John, you and a handful of customers are the only ones running support and doing any work. Yes, I read the info that Miko was off. But you know what. It's just another excuse. Yes, I'm harsh but I have kept my mouth shut for a long time.

There is NO reason these are not updated. Miko is gone, what about before he left. It was still "months" that he could have updated the skins. Like I said, other sites had them all updated in a matter of days.

I "am" a patient person. But enough has to be enough. Excuse after excuse, and the time frame it is taking "is" inexcusable.

You were harsh yourself. I honestly believe you feel the same as me. There have been too many excuses and too much time has passed. These should have "all" been updated months ago. Way before Miko left and took time off.

Like I said. It feel like his heart is not in it and he doesn't have the time to put into this. This is not a way to run a business.

Sure, he extended the amount of time to download in our accounts. That does no good. I'd rather have a company that actually works at this and delivers a product I can use.

I really hope you really read my comments fully and understand why I say what I say.

And I honestly feel nothing I said is unfair. Really, it is all the truth. Nothing less, nothing more.

I just wanted to stress one more thing to make sure I am very clear.
John, my goal is not to piss you off or even Miko. I honestly like Miko. It's more of a disappointment.

You and a handful of others work your butt's off here and many of us truly appreciate that. Please never think that I don't appreciate your efforts. I know you volunteer as well as a few of the others.

My only point was that it is really an issue with these updates not being completed well before Miko left.

I just felt I needed to say that to you and the others that bust your butt's helping us customers our. You are NOT taken for granted. I just feel sad that you guys (fellow customers) seem to offer more assistance than the owner. And please believe me when I say I have nothing personally against Miko. I know he is a great guy. It's just the way the actual business is run that irratates me at times.

It takes a lot to upset me but I can't believe this! 5 months already and no update to bluesaint skin! Bluesaint is still in 3.0.9 version. This is pathetic and enough of the silly excuses for Miko or whoever is running this place! It makes them look like script kiddies running this place.

Now the victims of fraud have to be feeling bad for Miko or apologizing to the fraudsters! I could care a rat's ass if miko is in Europe or in the Middle East! We paid for updates for a year! He had months and months to work in Bluesaint before going to wherever he went to. He just chose to update only Aria and couple other skins through many vbulletin versions! HE HAD TIME!

Customers don't owe anything to whoever is running this place! The owner of this place owe customers what we paid for! What world you people live in! Fact is that he promised updates many times and he didn't follow through with them! This is no way to run a business! This is plain scam what vbstyles is doing! We paid for skin and updates! I have personally not received any update yet!
