We're all expecting updates on the vb3.5 version of Aria.
I'm sure you are John, but given we experienced a major hacking today I feel our members will appreciate the work and effort Miko put in to get the site restored and back online.Originally Posted by john3
We really do appreciate that you are hungry for Aria 3.5 and want as much information as you can get. We really need to focus in the very short term (i.e the next few days) on (1) getting our Support Ticket System fully implemented, and (2) then implementing the new customer download areas. Once these are complete, then Miko can again focus on getting Aria completed for 3.5.
I am assisting where I can with (1) and (2) so as to free up Mikos time to continue working on the Aria 3.5 release.
Honestly folks, we are delighted that you are pressing us for this, we really are, and would ask that you bear with us while we catch our breath from todays events...
Aria will be with you soon... I promise...
I don't know what Miko would do without you John. B)
Wow, what a smashing thing to say Jon, I am very moved, thank you.
Why do I do it? well... in my opinion Miko is one of the true gentlemen of the internet. He is a class designer, he runs vBStyles impecably, and I love to learn... I also consider vBStyles to be a class outfit.
Thanks Jon...
I noticed the site was hacked early this morning (I'm in the states- central time zone) and sent an email via contact us. Do we know or have any idea, how the hackers gained access to the site?
The hack was made by exploiting a random image generator script, the attacker managed to upload a php ftp script using the image script and managed to make some small damage on our website, mainly replacing all of our index.php and index.html files with either an image or a script pointing to a competitor site.
That's quite suspicious and annoyingOriginally Posted by theMusicMan
Yes indeed it is very worrying.Originally Posted by john3
We know the competitor site well and also have a great professional relationship with the owner who is also an excellent designer. Someone did more than just 'hacking' - they tried to sour this good relationship and cause serious issues between the two companies.
