vBulletin 3.07 Skins - Discussion

Just a heads up Miko. There are template changes that effect the skins;)

When you upgrade the board to 3.0.7 and check for updated templates you will see them. Sorry, it will cause you a little more work but there are indeed effected templates :(

Well maybe not ;) It's hard to tell because the templates are so different. I just installed the latest skin version and did not have the templates show up all of the sudden which is strange because the board is 3.0.7 and the skin is 3.0.5?? Oh well, it looks like it works ok.

I had just seen on vb.com that the postbit_legacy was updated so I thought that would have to be updated on your skins??

The only template changed from 3.06 are:

Templates Changed from 3.0.6 to 3.0.7

Added conditional that displays "Forum is closed for new attachments" if editing a post that contains attachments in a forum that is closed for posting.

Requires Revert: Yes to gain this functionality.



pm_messagelist_periodgroup

Added a conditional to the colspan to prevent an empty column from being displayed if icons are disabled.

Requires revert? No.



SHOWTHREAD

Added a conditional to add some spacing below the posts when using the legacy postbit. See this bug.

Requires revert? No.


where did you read about postbit_legacy?

The only template used by any of the skins is the showthread and it will be upgraded tomorrow morning as soon as i get at the office :P

Yeah you are right. It is showthread but it only effects you if you use the legacy option. That is why I must have had postibit_legacy in my head ;)

Cool! I love you man! I will wait for the update to the skins on monday to buy a couple. Look forward to seeing the 3.07 compliant number on the skins!
