So to be clear... this has the horizontal postbit and only a few colors (but which colors??).

I run an Aria Sand forum with a vertical postbit, so I'll be waiting a little while I guess. I hope to be able to do it this weekend (weekends we have less traffic, so downtime isn't so bad).

Hi Sandtrap,
the postbit is the vertical , my mistake in the announcement :p
Is a improved version of the old aria postbit!
aria sand, aria citrus and aria chocolate are coming in the next 48 hours.

Great. I was wondering - the test forum had a vertical postbit, yes. Thanks for clarifying.

When sand is ready, I'm good to go. Funny that I'm "sandtrap" and my site is "The Sand Trap" and one of the themes is called "sand." It was meant to be.

I've screenshotted (not that that's a verb) my site and grabbed copies of all changed templates, so I think I'm ready to go. It will be an adventure, but I'm looking forward to it.

So how'd it go, death?

I'm still hoping the Sand color comes out today. ;-)

Is out now, just before the end of the weekend, at least NY time ;)

The skin is a complete recode from the ground up. So this means that all of the modifications I've made at my forums will have to be redone? That is quite a lot to ask when I don't think there were that many changes from vB 3.5.4 to 3.6.0. Please clarify.

Almost every template has changed since vbulletin 3.5.4
All of the new features of vbulletin 3.6.0 simply do not work with the 3.5.4 files.
Is not a matter of a few changes unfortunately, that is why I opted for a full recode.

The final decision is up to you buddy ;) you can always try to apply the changes posted on vbulletin.com since 3.5.4

and plus you get a new color, aria carbon ;)

I wasn't trying to give you a hard time. I simply mentioned what I've been told (that 3 maybe 4 templates changed drastically between vB 3.5 and 3.6). It sounds like that wasn't the case. Thanks for clarifying.

I know you were not :D
I guess all of the main templates have changed,
all of the forumhome/forumdisplay/postbit have drastically changed
and those are most of what is customized in a custom skin anyway.
