If my memory serves me correctly any skin is compatable with vbadvanced aslong as you run the installation and only do the 'add templates' bit for the skin, then point your image paths to the skin directory and that should be it.
Unless anyone wants to correct me?

Hi Lore as far as i know every skin will work with vbadvance with minor modification.
The only skins that will need a little bit more work are the flash skins as the buttons links are hardcoded in the .swf
But we can help you with that for free.

I also what to use advantage. I wouldn't know how to add a basic box with Mecka style to my home page. Could we get a basic outline for a Mecka table?
Sure we have several private forums on this site for clients only where we can help you adding the basic category box to your homepage.

Will the skins work with the newly released vBAdvanced CMPS portal/cms?
Will the skins work with the newly released vBAdvanced CMPS portal/cms?
Yes.
the only change required is making the link in the header template from something like : skin_image/misc/... to www.yoursite.com/yourforumurl/skin_image/misc/......
you can see a working example here http://sanoxs.com/
