We just upgraded to vB 3.5 a couple of days ago and our previous DirectPixel Sky Blue skin was yet to have been updated to 3.5, so i needed a good quality alternative and quickly. No surprise my first point of call was vB Styles .. we are now using Element Blue and wont be returning to Sky Blue which looks completely obsoleet in its presence now!

You might have caught me at a moment where i was updating some files.
Try again, those messages only appeared for about 5 seconds whilst the overwriting process was in action. (Unlucky i guess)

Oh oh I like it!

How did you edit the guest welcome message like that? Looks far better than the usual welcome message. Keep up the great work!

Very very nice. I like it. ^_^. The purple seems to look better on your site.

I try and make everything customized, we cant be dealing with defaults when we are running vBulletin now can we, it is just screaming to be customized!

Update:

Now surpassed the 500 member.
Now implemented a sidebar into the Element skin.
Made a selection of changes to the Element postbit_legacy style too.
Made changes to the navbar template to include more information.

I tend to visit your site when I visit VBStyles to kill some boredom. :)

You were right in adding the side bar. Before hand the site looked very cluttered in my opinion. Right now though it's very appealing and well set out and easy to follow unlike before.

Seems like you've done alot of editing also, not to much but enough to give it that unique feel.

Keep it up. :)

Thanks for the comments, yeah i was in favour of the Sidebar addition to perhaps remove some of the vertical height of the website. It was either that are perhaps importing the functionality of a portal - but i don't really see them providing too much to communities anymore. I for one wont be more inclined to join a forum if i am hit with another link to click before getting to the content.
