From now onwards it's a official release and can purchased or downloaded if you are an existing customer :)

I purchased and downloaded the new Element 3.5 skin, which looks great.

When I look at the Readme.html file in the folder called "Element vBulletin 3.5 RC3", it is actually the Readme file for the "Aria Style" and it appears to be for an older version than 3.5.

Is there a Readme file specifically for installing the 3.5 Element skin?

There is a folder called "Phrases" but this is not mentioned in the Aria readme and also it talked about modifying the forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost template.

I have installed the new skin, and it seems to work, but I didn't do anything with the phrases and I didn't change that template, but I'm not sure if I need to do more?

Thanks, I have downloaded the new Readme and am ready to do the phrases. Just so that I am 100% clear, should I overwrite my language (English) or should I create a new language?

If I overwrite the existing English phrases, are there any concerns about losing any data? This is my first experiment with 3.5, so sorry about the cautious question. :)

Overwrite, it will only add the new custom phrases none of the default will be touched.

It was meant to be coded by someone that I hired to help me out, since i was coding Element and Aria, but the person disappeared on me and didn't even have the decency to reply to my messages.....ah well I'll be doing it myself after Aria, at least i know it will be working and clean.

Do you have a list of the order in which skins will be converted to the 3.5 version? If not, I was wondering when the Satellite Style will be converted.... I would like to change the look of my site along with the upgrade.

Miko's certainly onto it derekb, I for one know he was - yet again - working well into the early hours on coding Aria for vB 3.5.

@MaxiON: Posbit template is default with Element. There is a postbit_legacy template available here on vBStyles forum that was coded by one of our kind customers.

Element +
This is the extended width version of the purple edition of the element skin.

Element #
This is the slightly darker version of the smaller width purple element skin.

Element blue
This is basically the same as the Element skin, except a blue version.

Element blue #
Basically just a slightly darker version of the Element blue skin.

i'd like to make a request, having the Element and The Aria merged to have all the enhancements of both styles in a single one...

i find the new Element thingies very interesting, but some of the Aria gadgets to be missing in it... and i don't want to buy both styles to be forced to merge some templates...

can it be possible ???

btw, i would do the job for free (yeah, if i can have the styles for free, i will merge them and make a new version for the guys)

Miko is currently working on AfterDark, and then (i believe) Satellite.
He is clearly working on the conversions ASAP though.:)
