Hi All,
www.DeFuturo.com
Just starting a new Law Discussion forum and Law Student help forum over on www.DeFuturo.com (http://www.defuturo.com/). Initially I was going to set this up as a resource for fellow law degree students, but then thought what the heck, and I have now opened it up for anyone who wants to discuss Law or who might have a Law based question they want to obtain free advice on.
Please have a look around, I am using what I think is Miko's most fantastic style yet, Element. Feel free to browse, sign up and post a few of your law questions if you feel the need...http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif
Would also very much appreciate any comments, suggestions and feedback. Thanks.

John, I noticed you are not using the expanded version of Element. What do you feel the disadvantages of using an expanded skin are? I like your new site.
Thanks
J
Usually fixed-width forums are more appealing, at least they are to me. Not everyone likes wide forums. ^_^.
As for me, the skin looks awesome. Im glad you use purple instead of blue, since everyone seems to have used the blue one.
I joined the forums. Expect me to post soon. :)
I will report you to vbstyles.com for ripping the element skin
Very nice work, finally someone else that like the purple skin

Jay: I thinks it's just a matter of personal opinion and I much prefer using Fixed Width forums... I feel they look neater/tidyer/better, and they certainly create a more formal appeal - which is specifically what I was trying to create for my law forum. Also, sometimes on liquid styles, there is a lot of whitespace and I feel that this is a no-no on a web page. It also gives the owner more control of the appearance of portal pages.
Sektor: I am glad you like the forums, and I really do appreciate you sigining up on them for me. It is always difficult to launch a forum and turn it into a thriving community - and the first few weeks are indeed the most challenging and frustrating - your signing up is a great help, thanks.
Miko: eeeek! Will I be in trouble from da boss man then???:)

Update: Just to let peeps know if anyone wants to see a 3.5 Element site - I have now upgraded this to vB 3.5 Gold together with Element style for 3.5 Gold.
Need to do the vBA Links Directory sometime soon too.

John,
Whose peeps?? some British slang I'll bet. Forum looks nice. I chose the PDA version but couldn't get back into Element style because I did not see a style chooser to get out of PDA style (maybe I missed it). Personally, I still like the wide version of a style as it utilizes all the real estate on the sides as compared to fixed. Why not make use of a 19 inch monitor if you have one. Maybe it wastes the white space but doesn't the fixed waste the sides? Anyway, I know its just personal preference and your site looks super. I can't wait to see what tricks you'll do with Element on vbextra....Tah. So are you British or Scottish. I'll PM you my middle name.

Hi gnubittol
Hmmm... I checked this and it all seems in order to me!! Did you get a 404 page not found error when you tried...? Would appreciate any feedback to resolve this one as I certainly don't wish to miss out on any potential new members.
Thanks for letting me know sir, much appreciated.

I'm very busy to create a style exclusive for my community... if someone want to work for me... I've a little budget... about 100$
There is only a clause: The forum is the New Beetle Fans Club, therefore I need a very SIMPLE but elegant style... with icons XP/New Beetle oriented ;)

Of course it is, althoug i always thought this was one of those american colloquial terms which we sort of adapted as our own. It just means people ...
