Look at which skin you have sold the most of within the last year and do that one first. Persoanlly, I vote for Aria as that would allow me to install 3.5 and keep my current board up to date. Although I am equally interested in purchasing a new skin.

Our reliance on vbstyles has been placed in your hands. Please keep that in mind in determining how soon you will release the 3.5 skins. I think a lot of the users have already wanted to upgrade to 3.5 RC2 but I fully understand you not wanting to duplicate your efforts. In any event, you hold all the control as to how soon 100's of vb webmasters can upgrade to 3.5 gold once it comes out.

Yeah I understand that but people are going nuts about v3.5. So why not convert all/a skin to 3.5 RC2 as people would be very proud of it. And remember, RC versions are always one step closer to the Gold version. But it seems that Miko has created a special poll for a skin to convert for 3.5 first.

The same goes for mods...why doesn't vb sell them like invision board does? The board software industry is an unusual business model to say the least. Given what it is...I am very happy to have people like Miko and MusicMan taking what little free time they have to work on the excellent skins that vbstyles has to offer.

and the only problem i have is, skin selection. When I click the drop down menu and select another skin it does not convert to the new skin, and shows error on page.

The next skin to be ported to vbulletin 3.5.1 is the Tech Two skin and should be ready in the next few days.
This week is just full of updates, 3.5.1 conversions, Satellite and TechTwo :)

that's so ridiculous to wirte on the start page have mery christmas and no support until end of january :mad: :mad: :mad: I wait since the release of vb 3.5 of the converted style "thumb flash skin" and no words anymore about the release. Why I have paid this style and 1 year support ??? I can't believe this policy.

Sorry you feel this way A-handreas but that post was made several months ago, and indeed many of the styles have already been not only upgraded to vB3.5, but to vB3.5.1 AND vB3.5.2. How many other vBulletin styles commercial designers upgrade and release their styles within a few days of vBulletin upgrades?

Miko has worked incredibly hard this year in providing you all with the very latest, cutting edge styles for your vB forums and he has worked many long hours. We both worked around the clock a few months ago when vBstyles was the subject of a malicious attack.

OK, I am no Miko... but both myself and Mikaelweb will be here helping as we are able. I am sure you don't begrudge Miko a well deserved extended travelling holiday. The only reason the word 'official' is mentioned is that as Miko is travelling, he won't be here 100% of the time.

I am sure we will try to help should you experience difficulties.

Thanks for the answer. In fact of that I want do my vbulletin update to 3.5.x in the next days, I must change my style to the "Element". That's my so called "Backup style" which I bought with the discount price. But I feel like a customer in the 2. row with the "thumb flash skin". The thing is very easy, I bought the style with 1 year update access. But when I have to wait a half year to see my style updated when vbulletin change the version then I could loose my update period. It would be fair to give people like me which uses style that are not important for Miko a longer update access. The first converted 3.5 style are released in october. My style "thunb flash skin" will not be seen here before february 2006. This would mean around 4 months waiting more for nothing - hope you understand what I want to say.

Can assure you that all vBStyles customers are important to us, and that there are certainly not any tiers of customer. We treat all our customers the same.

Regarding your Blue Flash style: we will be allowing all our Blue Flash style customers an extended 12 month upgrade period which will run from when the upgraded 3.5.2 style is released to you. So, if it is released in the middle of January when Miko is back home, you will get an additional 12 months free support for that style from the middle of January - simple as that :)

We won't allow any customers to lose out on support and upgrades to their forum styles just because Jelsoft release a version of vBulletin that needs a detailed style re-rwite. You will get 12 months support and upgrades from whatever our release date is. Hope this is to your satisfaction.
